DIY Succulent Rings are Our New Favorite Party Activity

Whether you’re gathering for a bridal or baby shower, birthday celebration or summer picnic these DIY Succulent Rings are the perfect party past-time! Check out how to make them below.

SUPPLIES:

  • Floral Tape
  • Glue Gun
  • Scissors
  • Small Cylinder Shaped Object
  • Succulents
  • Wire
  • Wire Cutters

PRO TIPS:

Don’t forget to test the ring on your finger before you glue the succulents!  The cylinder-shaped objects you have lying around your house are probably not an exact match to your ring size, but they will help you achieve a consistent ring shape.  If DIY jewelry is something you’re interested in continuing, you can purchase a Ring Mandrel & Sizer to help make it easier!

STEP BY STEP INSTRUCTIONS:

    1. Plug in your glue gun to start warming it up.
    2. Measure wire around your cylinder-shaped object.  Use wire cutters to trim when you reach your desired thickness and size.
    3. Wrap ends of the wire around a portion of the ring to secure the shape.
    4. Put floral tape over the sharp ends of the wire.
    5. If needed, use scissors to trim your succulents.
    6. Use your glue gun and attach succulents to your ring.  The succulents will hold better if glued to the floral tape!  Hold securely for a couple minutes until dry.
